We are looking for someone with strong online marketing experience and an understanding of what it takes to market consumer products to a global audience. The online sales channels for the company include a range of e-commerce stores in addition to third party platforms (Including Amazon), across the UK, Europe, and the US.
As Online Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the monitoring and improvement of several processes within the marketing function. These processes include managing the work of a large team of Marketing Executives, in particular their online product management.
Man-management is a vital element of this role, including the ability to maintain a great working environment while motivation the team to maximise their potential.
Who we're looking for
The right candidate will be proficient in the typical online marketing techniques such as website usability, PPC, SEO, affiliate networks, email marketing, and utilising social media.
We aim to retain a certain degree of this work in-house, however the ability to work with outsourced agencies will be beneficial in areas such as SEO. A wider understanding of online retail is beneficial, in particular understanding how to monitor and utilise product review sites, blogs and forums. An understanding of Magento is beneficial although not essential.
We expect the Marketing Manager to be able to add value to the marketing team and bring skills to the company. In addition to online marketing there are further projects that the Marketing Manager can help develop, which include product branding and promotion, working with photographers, and also developing product videos.
For candidates with the correct skillset and motivation this is an exciting opportunity to work as a Marketing Manager in a fast-growing, global business. The role will provide great variation and the chance to utilise your skills on a number of enjoyable projects.
